1. Scope

This policy describes how TestAutomate ("we", "us") handles information when you use testautomate.ai and the TestAutomate platform, including the browser extension and any self-hosted deployment we license to you. It applies to workspace administrators, members, and visitors to this site.

2. Information we collect

We collect account information you provide (name, work email, workspace details); content you create in the product (test definitions, run transcripts, verdicts, screenshots, ingested documentation); encrypted application credentials you store for test accounts; and operational data such as model-spend metering and service logs needed to run the platform.

3. How we use information

We use your information to operate the service: executing runs, grading verdicts, storing evidence, metering spend, and providing support. We do not sell personal information, we do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and we do not share your data with any third party you have not configured.

4. AI providers and subprocessors

When you bring your own AI key, prompts and page content are sent directly to the provider you configured (Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Google Gemini, or Groq) under your own agreement with that provider. When you use managed credits, inference is processed through our provider account at the provider's price plus a stated fee. A current list of subprocessors is available on request via our contact page.

5. Retention and deletion

Content remains in your workspace until you delete it or close your account. Credentials are stored AES-256-GCM encrypted and are deleted with your workspace. On verified request, we delete workspace data within thirty days, subject to legal retention obligations. Self-hosted deployments retain all data on your own infrastructure under your own policies.
